MARDUK: U.S. Release Date Set For 'Plague Angel'
January 17, 2005Candlelight Records has set a March 8 U.S. release date for the new album from Sweden's MARDUK. Titled "Plague Angel", it is the band's ninth full-length studio album to see proper release in the U.S.
The CD, which was recorded at Endarker studio in Norrköping, Sweden with producer Devo Andersson, is the band's first release with new singer Mortuus (previously a member of FUNERAL MIST and TRIUMPHATOR under the alias Arioch). A video for "Throne of Rats" was recently produced by director Roger Johansson (THE HAUNTED, IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL) and is being described as "a morbid masterpiece and a tribute to death and war."
